2023 Boys Town Run

In-Person on Boys Town Campus: Saturday, September 9
Virtual Race: September 9-11

REGISTER START TIMES

This year, we will debut the BOYS TOWN RUN on Saturday, September 9th.

The 2023 Run will take place on Boys Town’s beautiful campus. This year the run will coincide with Suicide Prevention Awareness month. The money raised from the event will be supporting Mental Health and the Boys Town National Hotline as we face the growing mental health crisis in our country.

The Hotline is a toll-free number, available 24/7 to kids and parents. Our goal is to make sure every kid and parent knows this free resource is available. Last year alone the Hotline answered 101,824 calls and 15,543 web contacts from distressed kids, teens and parents nationwide. Boys Town National Hotline crisis counselors stopped 465 suicides in progress. Plus, the Hotline also answers calls for the national 9-8-8 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Did You Know?

Boys Town founder Father Edward J. Flanagan was known during World War II as “America’s Number One War Dad” because hundreds of Boys Town kids listed him as their next of kin when they enlisted in the service. To many of those boys, Father Flanagan was the only “father” they had ever known.
